I mostly prefer using Outlook account rather than all other mail account because it has a very good feature of storing contacts, journals, tasks, mails calendar entries etc. So because of its wide variety of features and usage I do most of my work on my Outlook account. However, I faced some issues with my Outlook. Here, I would like to share my experience on how I handled the problematic issues by splitting the PST file and avoided its corruption.
From past few days I started facing some troubles while using my Outlook account. It suddenly started working slow. I was not able to see my contacts and moreover I was not able to attach my files for sending mails. Then suddenly I checked my net connectivity, it was completely ok like usual days.
As, I am not very technologically sound, so I was worried how to resolve this problem. Then I called my friend who is a Computer Engineer and discussed the entire issue with him. The first question he asked was that what is the size of my PST file? I told him 4.8 GB, then he asked me the version of Outlook. I told him that it is Outlook 2003. Then he told me that although 2003 offers larger size limit but still sometimes large size of PST file creates this problem. He tried some fixes but noting actually worked and then he finally suggested me to go for a third party Split PST software.
Then I started searching for a suitable third party split PST software. After going through many blogs, articles, and sites I came up with the conclusion that a PST File Splitter is apt software for me. I found that this software was highly recommended by people and has lots of features such as:
1.It helps splitting PST file on the basis of split criteria that is date, size, Email ID etc.
2.It splits single as well multiple files from different locations.
3.It also provides a detailed log report of the entire process.
4.Avoids corruption of PST files due to large size.
Hence by purchasing PST File Splitter I was able to resolve my issue efficiently, because this software is compatible with Outlook versions 2010, 2007, 2003, 2002, 2000 and many more. Now I can easily use my Outlook account as earlier without the fear of getting PST file corrupted.
