Sometimes users of a particular email client need to switch to a different email client. There can be many other reasons behind the switching of two email client. 6. Outlook for MAC does not have any option to save journals.

Advantages of Outlook files:

1. If you don’t have an email administrator who regularly performs backups of your email server, then copying email to a local .PST file is a fast and easy method to ensure your email is recoverable in a server DR scenario.
2. PST file make email portable, means you can easily move your mails from one mailbox to another.
3. PST file also gives the user a wider file size to use.
4. Local PST file also gives its users offline access to data.
5. PST file keeps the database of your mails, tasks, journals, tasks, calendar entries etc.
