How to resolve the issue of large sized PST file

Outlook being the most reliable email account has fascinated the whole world with its flawless functionality and security features. I also use Outlook for the same reason. But also being a most effective email client, Outlook have some shortcomings. Let me briefly explain this with my experience.

I work in a multinational organization where the whole official work is done on Microsoft Outlook. Therefore I also use Outlook for my professional work. Earlier I was using Outlook 2002 version, but as I use Outlook for my official purpose I used to receive numerous mails, heavy attachments on my email account because of which my Outlook started showing odd behaviors such as Outlook used to get hanged problem in sending and receiving mails etc. All this issues used to hinder my work. I knew that this was because of the increase in the size of my PST file.

Then one of my colleagues told me about an enhanced version of Outlook which is Outlook 2007 which has the size limitation of 20 GB to save PST file. Then I updated my Outlook to 2007 version because of its high data storage facility. But unfortunately this diversion also from one Outlook version to another did not worked. One day while I was working on Outlook 2007 I started witnessing problem with my Outlook such as slow working, problem in downloading attachments loss of data etc. I got worried what may be the reason this time. Then I checked the size of my PST file and found that my PST file size was around 6 GB only where as this version of Outlook has PST file limitation of 20 GB. Then I researched about this and found that this problem was due to oversize of the PST file. I found that every version of the PST file whether it is of high size limitation or low may face the problem of corruption due to oversize. Outlook version with high PST file size limitation the also gets oversized when the size of the file reaches around 3GB to 4 GB and this leads to corruption afterwards.

Then I found the reason behind the issue in my Outlook. Then I thought of going for a PST repair tool for fast and efficient recovery of my PST files.
