Microsoft
Outlook 2007 has an advantage of size limitation of PST file up to 20
GB. But this advantage of Outlook can turn out to be a biggest
disadvantage when it leads to PST File corruption due to oversize of
the PST file. Because of large file limitation people usually
oversize the PST files and due to this PST file gets corrupted. This
creates lot of issues in the Outlook due to which are not able to
access the PST files properly.
Sometimes
while working on Outlook you may witness a message asking to”
Reduce the size of your Outlook data” and near to the message there
will be an option showing to Compact now. This is a Utility provided
by Microsoft Outlook to compact the PST file when its size starts to

Compacting
a PST file is an important technique for keeping the Outlook data
file (.pst) safe. Due to the size limitation of PST file when
performance issues arises with Outlook then this practice of
compacting the file helps a lot. However, this task can be
accomplished manually or with the use of software. This can be in two
cases:
Manage Outlook PST file with Compact PST Software
1.
In Outlook 2002 and its earlier version which uses ANSI(American
National Standards Institute) format which has PST file
limitation up to 2GB . So in this case if the file size of the
