Microsoft Outlook comes
along with the complete package of Office suite. Outlook has various
versions which includes old versions of Outlook (97, 2000 and 2002)
were in ANSI coded format and have file size limitation of 2 GB. Due
to this size limitation there are chances of PST corruption.
But
there are many problems associated with
Outlook 2002. Some of the issues encountered in Outlook 2002 are:
- Switching a mail from one folder to another you receive a message “Can not move your mail”
- Problem occurs in the deletion of any particular mail.
- 0x800ccc0F- Due to this error you are not able to send or receive mails.
- Also Outlook starts working Slow
- Attachments can’t be downloaded properly.
The only reason behind
these issues is PST File Corruption. In Outlook 2002 corruption
usually occurs due to oversize of the file. Because Outlook 2002 has
file limitation upto 2 GB and if the file size exceeds this size
limit then corruption occurs.
Hence to avoid this issue
Microsoft provides a utility 'Scanpst' to repair the damaged PST
files. This utility firstly scans the file and then finally repairs
the file. But this utility of Outlook have certain limitations such
as it may not recover the complete PST File in worst case scenario,
also there are chances of loss of data while the recovery process.
Hence due to these drawbacks we cannot completely rely on Scanpst for
the recovery of our damaged PST files.
Due to the drawbacks of
Scanpst we need to go for an effective tool to repair Outlook
2002. There are many tool which guarantees complete recovery of
the file. But one tool which offers full recovery of file with
numerous features is also available. This tool offers great
compatibility with almost all the Outlook versions such as 97, 2000,
2002, 2003, 2007 and 2010. With an interactive User Interface it
makes the user comfortable in using this tool.
So to avoid the
shortcomings of Scanpst it is a better alternative to to go for a
professional software for efficient recovery of our Outlook 2002 PST
files.
